Ambassadori Island Batumi signs an international partnership agreement with UAE-based real estate developer ONE Development to develop a high-end, multifunctional complex on the artificial island in Batumi, Georgia. Under the agreement, ONE Development plans to invest $200 million in the project, bringing an artificial intelligence-integrated development to the wider island masterplan.
The exhibition is The agreement is formally signed by Gocha Kamkia, CEO of Ambassadori Island Batumi, and Moustafa Rashad, Group CEO of ONE Development, during LIVEX 2026 in Abu Dhabi. being held from September 29 to October 1 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre and focuses on liveability, investment and urban development.

The planned complex is positioned as the first project on Ambassadori Island to integrate AI-based technologies and advanced digital systems. The development is expected to combine residential, lifestyle and multifunctional elements, aligning with ONE Development’s technology-focused approach to real estate. The UAE developer is known for its Laguna Residence project in Dubai’s City of Arabia, which incorporates AI-enabled features and more than 40 lifestyle, wellness and social amenities.
The partnership forms part of the broader development of Ambassadori Island Batumi, a planned 84-hectare artificial island project in the Black Sea. The wider development is designed around smart-city and sustainability principles and is being implemented with international partners including Arup, Yüksel Proje and SHoP Architects. The masterplan incorporates residential and hospitality facilities, retail, recreation, healthcare and educational infrastructure.
Gocha Kamkia says the partnership with ONE Development reflects the project's strategy of working with international companies and bringing advanced expertise and investment to Ambassadori Island. Moustafa Rashad says the collaboration provides ONE Development with an opportunity to contribute its technology-led approach to a major coastal development in the Black Sea region.

The new agreement adds to a growing pipeline of developments planned for Ambassadori Island. The project is also advancing other multifunctional and retail components, including a 170,000-square-metre City Mall Batumi, which is scheduled to open in 2029.
With the ONE Development partnership, Ambassadori Island Batumi expands its international development network while introducing an AI-integrated complex as part of its planned residential, hospitality, commercial and lifestyle ecosystem.
