Dubai Land Department Brings Dubai RE Connect to Bengaluru

Dubai Land Department brings Dubai RE Connect to Bengaluru, engaging investors and real estate professionals on Dubai’s market opportunities, regulatory framework and digital property services.

Dubai Land Department (DLD) brings its Dubai RE Connect initiative to Bengaluru as part of its efforts to strengthen direct engagement with Indian investors and real estate professionals. The event brings together investors, business leaders, developers, brokers and industry representatives to provide insights into Dubai’s property market, regulatory framework and digital real estate ecosystem.

Held at Conrad Bengaluru, the event follows earlier editions in New Delhi and Mumbai. It creates a platform for Indian investors to interact directly with Dubai government representatives, developers and market participants while gaining information on investment opportunities and the processes supporting property ownership in the emirate.

The Bengaluru engagement comes as Dubai continues to expand its real estate sector and development pipeline. During the first half of 2026, the emirate records the completion of 104 real estate projects with a combined value exceeding AED 111 billion. The number of completed projects rises 38.7% compared with the corresponding period of 2025, while 24,537 new residential units are delivered during the period.

DLD uses the event to highlight the regulatory and digital infrastructure supporting Dubai’s property market. The department showcases initiatives including the Initial Registration platform, Tamleek+, the First-Time Home Buyer Programme, Dubai REST and frameworks supporting Real Estate Investment Trusts.

The Initial Registration platform, launched in September 2026, integrates project registration, real estate transaction registration and escrow account management into a unified digital journey for developers. It uses artificial intelligence and automation to reduce repetitive data entry, extract information from documents and provide an integrated view of projects and related records.

DLD also highlights its First-Time Home Buyer Programme, which is designed to facilitate property ownership for eligible UAE nationals and residents through benefits and incentives offered in collaboration with participating developers and financial institutions. The department further showcases Dubai REST as a unified digital platform for accessing real estate services and market information.

The event also reflects Dubai’s wider focus on technology-driven real estate services. DLD’s real estate tokenisation initiative, developed in collaboration with the Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority, Dubai Future Foundation and the Central Bank of the UAE, explores blockchain-based property registration and fractional ownership models.

Dubai RE Connect forms part of DLD’s broader international investor outreach and aligns with the Dubai Real Estate Sector Strategy 2033. Through initiatives such as the Bengaluru engagement, the department seeks to provide international investors with access to official market information while strengthening connections between Dubai’s real estate ecosystem and India’s business and investment community.
