Krisumi to Invest 1,300 Crore in Gurugram Luxury Housing

Krisumi Corporation begins construction of two luxury residential phases in Gurugram, committing over ₹1,300 crore to 542 homes with a projected revenue potential exceeding ₹4,000 crore.

Krisumi Corporation, an Indo-Japanese real estate joint venture between Japan’s Sumitomo Corporation and India’s Krishna Group, begins construction of two luxury residential phases at its Krisumi City township in Sector 36A, Gurugram. The company plans to invest more than ₹1,300 crore over the next five years in The Forest Reserve and The Forest Reserve-II, which together comprise 542 residential units and carry an estimated revenue potential of over ₹4,000 crore.

The two developments represent Phases 5 and 6 of the company’s 33.38-acre integrated township along the Dwarka Expressway. Spread across approximately 1.67 million square feet, the projects are designed to cater to buyers seeking spacious residences, premium amenities and access to the expanding urban infrastructure of Gurugram and Delhi.

The residential portfolio includes two-, three- and four-bedroom LDK configurations, reflecting the Japanese layout convention that integrates living, dining and kitchen spaces. Apartment sizes range from approximately 2,166 square feet to 3,993 square feet, with prices starting at around ₹4.9 crore, depending on the configuration and applicable charges. Japanese architectural firm Nikken Sekkei designs the development, incorporating Japanese principles of spatial planning, functionality and nature-inspired design.

Residents will also have access to The Cascades Club, a 162,000-square-foot private club within Krisumi City. Planned facilities include dining venues, lounges, spa experiences, recreational areas and an indoor sports arena. These amenities are intended to complement the residential offering and support a community-oriented lifestyle.

Ashok Kapur, chairman of Krisumi Corporation, says the commencement of construction marks an important milestone in the company’s expansion in Gurugram. He highlights the development’s focus on Japanese craftsmanship, Indian hospitality, nature and thoughtful design.

The wider Krisumi City township is planned as an integrated development combining residential, commercial, retail, hospitality and social infrastructure. The latest phases add to the company’s long-term development programme in the Dwarka Expressway corridor, where improving connectivity and infrastructure continue to support premium housing activity.
