London Restaurant Group Plans Four New UAE and Saudi Openings

London-based Hedonism Group partners with The FAB Group to expand its HIDE and HIDEAWAY restaurant brands, with four locations planned across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Jeddah and Riyadh.

London-based Hedonism Group plans to expand its restaurant portfolio across the Middle East through a partnership with The FAB Group, the food and beverage subsidiary of DEAL Holdings. The agreement covers the introduction, development and operation of its HIDE and HIDEAWAY brands across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region and selected European markets.

The partnership identifies four locations across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Jeddah and Riyadh, with development activities already underway. The first openings are expected in the coming months, as the companies pursue a broader international expansion strategy.

Hedonism Group's portfolio includes HIDE, a Michelin-starred restaurant in London, and HIDEAWAY, a premium deli-café concept associated with Mayfair. HIDE is recognised for its contemporary culinary approach, ingredient-led menus and attentive service, while HIDEAWAY offers a more informal dining experience.

The agreement follows discussions initiated at the Global Restaurant Investment Forum (GRIF) in 2025 and announced at the forum's 2026 edition in Dubai. The partnership reflects growing interest in established international dining concepts across the UAE and Saudi Arabia, where hospitality operators continue to explore opportunities in premium food and beverage experiences.

The FAB Group is building an international portfolio of dining brands alongside its homegrown concepts. Its expansion strategy also includes a partnership with London-founded Indian restaurant brand Kricket, broadening its presence in the international dining market.

Under the Hedonism Group agreement, HIDEAWAY is expected to play a central role in the rollout. The concept draws on the group's existing Mayfair café and the culinary heritage of HIDE. Its operating model can accommodate different venue sizes and formats, including licensed and unlicensed locations suited to individual markets.

The four-site development pipeline marks the beginning of a wider expansion programme. Through the partnership, both groups aim to establish their brands across additional Middle Eastern and selected European markets, combining international restaurant expertise with regional development and operational capabilities.
