Neotec Africa Enters India With Gurugram Office, Eyes Deals

Neotec Africa launches Neotec India with a Gurugram office to explore residential, commercial and hospitality projects through acquisitions, joint ventures, development agreements and strategic partnerships.

Neotec Africa, an international engineering, construction and real estate development company, has expanded into India with the launch of Neotec India and the establishment of its country office in Gurugram. The company plans to explore real estate development, project management and strategic partnership opportunities across the Indian market. 

The India entry expands Neotec Africa’s international footprint beyond its existing operations in The Gambia, Guinea-Bissau, Dubai and Spain. The company said its India operations will engage with landowners, developers, investors and other stakeholders to identify potential projects and partnerships.

Neotec India’s capabilities will span design, construction, development and equity investment, along with architectural and engineering services and project management. The India team includes Marco Marino Blanco, CEO - Design & Architecture; Sheikh Tijan Sallah, Director - Projects & Administration; and Tarun Kumar Singh, Director - Operations.

Nitin Shrivastava, Country Operation Head, Neotec India, said the company sees opportunities to build long-term partnerships in India and plans to combine its international experience with local expertise. The company’s strategy is focused on working with local stakeholders across different stages of real estate development.

Neotec India will consider multiple structures for entering and participating in projects, including outright acquisitions, joint ventures, joint development agreements and development management arrangements. The structure adopted will depend on the requirements of individual projects and prospective partners.

From its Gurugram base, the company will assess opportunities across residential, commercial and hospitality real estate, while also evaluating other development segments. However, Neotec has not announced a specific Indian project, land acquisition or investment commitment as part of its market entry.

The company’s expansion builds on the experience of its promoters, who have more than two decades of experience in real estate and construction. Its broader operations cover engineering, construction, architectural services, development and project management.

The Gurugram office will therefore serve as the company’s base for identifying development opportunities and building relationships with Indian landowners, developers and investors. Its future presence in the country will depend on the partnerships and projects it secures.
