Seven Tides Unveils 396-Key NH Collection Dubai Hotel

Seven Tides launches NH Collection Dubai Ibn Battuta, a 396-room property repositioned from Oaks Ibn Battuta Gate to serve leisure, corporate, family and MICE travellers in Dubai.

Seven Tides has officially launched NH Collection Dubai Ibn Battuta, following the phased transformation and repositioning of the former Oaks Ibn Battuta Gate Hotel Dubai. The 396-room property is owned by Seven Tides and operated by Minor Hotels, expanding the company’s hospitality portfolio in the UAE.

Located near Ibn Battuta Mall, the hotel has been repositioned to cater to leisure, family, corporate, group and meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions (MICE) travellers. The launch also strengthens the presence of the NH Collection brand in Dubai, following the opening of NH Collection Dubai The Palm in 2023. Both properties are owned by Seven Tides and operated by Minor Hotels.

NH Collection Dubai Ibn Battuta offers a range of accommodation categories, including Collection, Superior and Premium Rooms, along with Junior, Family and Terrace Pool Suites. Selected two-bedroom configurations are designed for families and longer stays, while Club Rooms and suites provide access to the Executive Lounge. Terrace Pool Suites feature private outdoor areas with temperature-controlled pools.

The transformation also includes refreshed public spaces and an expanded food and beverage offering. The property features Benihana, a Japanese teppanyaki restaurant, along with Taste, an all-day dining concept, and Nomad, a speciality coffee café. Existing venues such as Skyline Pool Bar, McGettigan’s and Rodeo Drive continue to form part of the hotel’s dining and entertainment portfolio.

For business and events, the hotel provides dedicated meeting facilities, including two ballrooms and 10 flexible meeting rooms. The property is positioned to accommodate conferences, corporate gatherings, weddings and other events, with capacity for large-scale functions.

Ghanim Bin Sulayem, Group CEO and Managing Director, Seven Tides, said the repositioning reflects the company’s approach of investing in established hospitality assets and enhancing their positioning in response to Dubai’s evolving tourism sector. He added that the property’s location, scale and leisure and MICE facilities support its focus on different segments of Dubai’s hospitality market.

The launch adds another NH Collection property to Dubai’s growing hospitality landscape as the emirate continues to develop its leisure, business and events tourism segments.
