Ganpati Group to Invest 250 Crore in Lucknow Sheraton Hotel

Ganpati Group plans to invest ₹250 crore in a 200-key Sheraton hotel in Lucknow’s Vibhuti Khand, advancing its hospitality expansion strategy and targeting 800–1,000 hotel keys over the next three to five years.

Ganpati Group announces a planned investment of approximately ₹250 crore to develop a 200-key hotel in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, in partnership with Sheraton Hotels and Resorts. Located in Vibhuti Khand, the project marks a step in the group’s expansion into branded hospitality, combining its real estate development capabilities with Sheraton’s international hospitality and hotel management expertise.

The proposed hotel forms part of Ganpati Group’s broader hospitality growth strategy. The company aims to add approximately 800–1,000 hotel keys to its portfolio over the next three to five years. Hospitality also contributes to its upcoming development pipeline, which represents an estimated ₹2,000 crore across residential, commercial and hospitality projects. Lucknow and Visakhapatnam are among the group’s immediate focus markets.

Nikhil Agrawal, managing director of Ganpati Group, says hospitality is an important pillar of the company’s long-term growth strategy. He identifies Lucknow as a promising market due to its expanding business ecosystem, infrastructure development and tourism potential. The partnership with Sheraton is intended to combine the group’s development experience with the hospitality brand’s operating expertise.

The project reflects Ganpati Group’s approach of integrating real estate development with established hotel brands as it expands into business, leisure and emerging urban markets. The company is looking to diversify its portfolio while building a presence in locations supported by economic activity and evolving travel demand.

Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, serves as a centre for administration, commerce and services. Its ongoing urban development and infrastructure growth support the city’s potential for hospitality investment, including accommodation for business and leisure travellers.
