IHCL Launches 66-Room Tree of Life Amoravida Resort in North Goa

IHCL opens Tree of Life Amoravida, a 66-key boutique resort in North Goa, featuring an all-day restaurant, rooftop bar, swimming pool and local experiences focused on nature, culture and slow travel.

The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) expands its Tree of Life portfolio with the opening of Tree of Life Amoravida, a 66-key boutique resort in North Goa. Surrounded by greenery and the region’s natural landscape, the property caters to travellers seeking a relaxed stay that combines leisure, local culture and nature-based experiences.

The resort reflects the growing interest in slow travel, which encourages visitors to explore destinations at a comfortable pace and engage more closely with their surroundings. Deepika Rao, Executive Vice President Select Service Business at IHCL, says the property brings the Tree of Life philosophy to a quieter and lesser-explored part of Goa, offering an intimate hospitality experience rooted in its location.

Tree of Life Amoravida features a range of dining and leisure facilities. Appetite, the resort’s all-day dining restaurant, serves as its primary food and beverage destination, while Aura Bar offers an open-to-sky rooftop setting for guests to unwind. The property also includes a swimming pool and a fitness centre, catering to visitors seeking both relaxation and opportunities to maintain their routines during their stay.

The resort provides indoor and outdoor venues for celebrations, social gatherings and special occasions, extending its appeal beyond leisure travellers to guests planning private events.

Its experiential offerings focus on the natural and cultural character of Goa. Guests can explore trails through the hinterland, spend time beside the water and engage with local traditions. These activities bring together nature, culture and leisure, encouraging visitors to discover a different side of the popular coastal destination.
