Amazon introduces a new range of Alexa-powered Echo devices, expanding its smart home portfolio with enhanced artificial intelligence features, improved audio capabilities and new ways to manage connected homes. The lineup includes an upgraded Echo Dot, an Echo Studio variant with a home camera, a sleep-sensing smart clock, an Alexa-powered photo frame and a redesigned Echo Show 16.
The new devices run the latest version of Alexa, which supports more natural conversations and helps users interact with connected devices and access information more intuitively. The products are initially available in the United States, with prices varying by model.

The next-generation Echo Dot is priced at $99.99 and combines a compact smart speaker with a built-in smart home hub and eero Wi-Fi extension capabilities. Amazon says the extender can add up to 1,000 square feet of network coverage. Powered by the company's AZ3 silicon, the device also incorporates an AI accelerator designed to improve voice detection and reduce interference from background noise.
Amazon also introduces an Echo Studio variant with a Home Camera, priced at $249.99. The device combines premium audio with visual intelligence, enabling Alexa to interpret objects and provide contextual information. Users can also access the camera feed through the Alexa app when away from home. The standard Echo Studio costs $219.99.
The Echo Time smart clock brings sleep-sensing technology to the bedside. Starting at $199.99, it uses Amazon's Omnisense technology to estimate lighter sleep stages and adjust wake-up times within a specified window. Its display gradually brightens before the alarm, creating a sunrise-style waking experience. The Amazon Kids Echo Time costs $209.99 and includes a one-year Amazon Kids+ subscription.
The Alexa Photo Frame features a 10-inch anti-glare touchscreen and synchronises images from Amazon Photos. Users can ask Alexa to display pictures of particular people, pets or trips. Amazon has yet to announce its price and availability.

The launch strengthens Amazon's connected-home ecosystem by combining entertainment, home monitoring, daily organisation and voice-assisted interactions across a broader range of devices.
