IHG Brings Garner Hotels to UAE With Two New Properties

IHG Hotels & Resorts introduces Garner Hotels to the Middle East through two UAE properties in Dubai and Ras Al Khaimah, adding 285 rooms to its portfolio and expanding its midscale offering.

IHG Hotels & Resorts is bringing its Garner Hotels brand to the Middle East through a partnership with Nooa Holdings, with two properties in the UAE scheduled to open in 2026. The agreement adds a combined 285 rooms to IHG’s UAE portfolio and marks Garner’s regional debut.

The first property, the 204-key Garner Hotel Ras Al Khaimah Downtown, is planned in Al Nakheel, close to the creek and Al Naeem Mall. The hotel is located around 15 minutes from Ras Al Khaimah International Airport and is designed to serve both business and leisure travellers.

The second development, the 81-key Garner Hotel Dubai Al Jaddaf, is planned near Al Jaddaf Waterfront, between Downtown Dubai and Dubai International Airport. The property is set to feature a rooftop swimming pool overlooking Dubai Creek, while its location provides access to major business, leisure and cultural destinations across Dubai.

Garner is IHG’s midscale conversion-focused brand, targeting travellers seeking accessible accommodation with consistent service and quality. The brand offers comfortable stays, convenient locations and breakfast, while hotel owners gain access to IHG’s operating systems, global distribution network and IHG One Rewards loyalty platform. As of June 30, 2026, Garner has 112 open hotels with 10,693 rooms globally and another 110 hotels in its pipeline.

IHG says the UAE provides a suitable market for the brand’s Middle East launch, supported by demand from travellers seeking quality accommodation at accessible price points. The company is also continuing to expand its broader hotel portfolio across the region through multiple brands and business models.

Haitham Mattar, Managing Director, India, Middle East & Africa, IHG Hotels & Resorts, says the introduction of Garner strengthens the company’s midscale offering in the region. He adds that the UAE serves as the launch market as IHG continues to match its brands with different locations and traveller requirements.

Amit Basnet, Founder and CEO of Nooa Holdings, says the partnership combines Garner’s flexible operating model with the company’s plans for the two UAE destinations. Nooa Holdings also indicates that it is exploring further opportunities to expand its portfolio with IHG.

The two properties will broaden IHG’s presence in the UAE’s midscale hospitality segment while extending the Garner brand into a new regional market. With both hotels expected to open in 2026, the agreement adds to the continued expansion of international hotel brands across Dubai and Ras Al Khaimah.
