The hotel aims to accommodate business travelers, local customers, and foreign tourists. Being situated at the center of the KAFD, guests will be closer to all the business, shopping, and lifestyle facilities in the area, as well as having two links to the climate-controlled KAFD skywalk system.
There are 214 rooms and suites at Atheel, which vary from simple rooms to multi-bedroom suites. The Presidential Suite is about 230 square meters, and the accommodation idea in general includes workspace as well as technology intended for business and leisure purposes.
The restaurant and bar offer is an integral part of the resort, which includes the contemporary Saudi restaurant, as well as Riya Maison, which is the French Mediterranean concept. There are also wellness amenities and meetings facilities in the hotel, thus making it not only an accommodation center, but also a meeting point in the KAFD.
Foster + Partners has designed the property, with the building having a geometric façade and an interior layout centred on an atrium, which acts as a source of natural lighting for the interiors. The guest areas offer panoramic views of the KAFD and the expanding skyline of Riyadh.
