The Delhi Development Authority offers 1,648 additional low-income group flats in Narela under Awaas Nivesh Yojana 2026 at approximately ₹14.95 lakh each, with a 25% discount. Online bookings open on October 29.
The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) announces the availability of 1,648 additional low-income group (LIG) flats in Narela under its Awaas Nivesh Yojana 2026. Priced at approximately ₹14.95 lakh per unit after a 25% discount, the flats form part of the authority’s efforts to expand access to affordable housing in the national capital.
Online bookings for the additional units open at noon on October 29, 2026, through the DDA Awaas Portal. The flats will be allotted on a first-come, first-served basis. Applicants must pay a booking amount of ₹1 lakh per flat, and prospective buyers are advised to review the scheme’s official brochure for eligibility criteria, payment schedules and other conditions.

The flats are located in Pocket 1, Sectors G2–G6, Narela. Each unit has an approximate plinth area of 49.90 square metres, including common areas. The additional offering follows strong demand for the earlier phase of the scheme, under which the available flats reportedly receive bookings within two hours of the opening of the process.
Applicants who have already registered on the DDA Awaas Portal do not need to register again. New applicants can access the scheme through the portal and follow the prescribed booking procedure under the title DDA Awaas Nivesh Yojana 2026.
Narela’s planned infrastructure development forms part of the location’s long-term residential outlook. Proposed connectivity improvements include the Rithala–Narela–Kundli Metro corridor and a planned Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) station. Road access through Urban Extension Road-I, Urban Extension Road-II and GT Karnal Road is also expected to support connectivity with other parts of Delhi and the surrounding region.

The area is additionally planned to accommodate an education hub across Sectors G2–G6, where land has been allotted to several universities. Proposed sports facilities include the Narela Sports Complex in Sector A-7 and a multi-sports integrated stadium. Green spaces and civic amenities also feature in the area’s development plans.
The additional allocation increases the number of affordable homes available through the DDA’s current housing initiative. For prospective buyers, the scheme provides another opportunity to purchase a home at a discounted price, subject to availability and the authority’s applicable terms.
