Indian cricketer Suryakumar Yadav adds a luxury property in Dubai to his growing real estate portfolio, marking his first investment in the UAE. The former India T20I captain confirms the purchase of a waterfront residence at Sharukhz Residences by Danube, located in Dubai Maritime City. The developer and the cricketer do not disclose the transaction value.

Yadav shares the announcement through a video on Instagram showing him signing the property documents alongside his wife, Devisha Shetty. He says his association with Dubai dates back to 2014, when he first visits the city for the Indian Premier League, followed by another visit in 2020. He cites the city’s lifestyle, luxury offerings and security as factors behind the investment.

The residence is part of Sharukhz Residences, a premium development by Danube Properties in Dubai Maritime City. The project promotes a waterfront lifestyle and offers more than 40 amenities. Yadav particularly highlights the development’s Longevity Lounge, which focuses on wellness and healthy living, as a feature that influences his decision.

The purchase also attracts attention because the development is associated with Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan, whose name features in the project branding. Reports describe the location as placing the cricketer in the same neighbourhood as the film star.

The Dubai investment adds an international dimension to Yadav’s property holdings. In February 2026, his wife purchases an apartment at Godrej Sky Terraces in Mumbai for ₹7.18 crore. The transaction marks the couple’s third apartment acquisition in the same development, taking their combined investment in the project beyond ₹28 crore.

Dubai continues to attract Indian property buyers, including business leaders, investors and celebrities, through its premium residential developments, international connectivity and lifestyle amenities.
