BCD Royale Deepens India Dubai Real Estate Engagement

BCD Royale hosts Dubai Land Department CEO Majid Al Marri in Bengaluru, bringing Indian developers and investors together with Dubai’s real estate leadership to explore stronger institutional and investment ties.

BCD Royale has hosted H.E. Majid Saqr Abdullah Al Marri, CEO of Dubai Land Department (DLD), in Bengaluru as part of an initiative to deepen engagement between India and Dubai’s real estate ecosystems. The interaction brings together perspectives from developers, investors, channel partners and industry bodies, with a focus on strengthening institutional connections between the two markets.

The engagement takes place as business and investment linkages between India and Dubai continue to develop, with real estate emerging as an important area of cross-border activity. DLD has been expanding its engagement with Indian investors and business communities, including through the Dubai RE Connect event held in Bengaluru earlier in September.

Ashwinder R. Singh, Partner and Co-Founder of BCD Royale and Vice Chairman of BCD Group, says the relationship between India and Dubai is increasingly shaped by capital, businesses, professionals and the Indian diaspora. He highlights the importance of deeper institutional engagement among developers, investors, channel partners and policymakers across the two markets.

The Bengaluru engagement also features a broader industry dialogue around the evolving India-Dubai real estate corridor. BCD Group says the discussions cover areas including investment opportunities, market developments, technology, talent and institutional partnerships. The session brings together BCD Group leadership, DLD representatives and industry participants for an exchange on the opportunities emerging across both real estate markets.

Dr. Angad Singh Bedi, Chairman and Managing Director of BCD Group and Partner and Co-Founder of BCD Royale, describes the engagement as part of a longer-term effort to build relationships between institutions, developers and capital across India and Dubai. The initiative focuses on creating channels for continued collaboration rather than being limited to an individual transaction or event.

BCD Royale’s engagement with DLD forms part of its wider cross-border industry outreach. Ashwinder Singh has previously led a CII real estate delegation to the UAE focused on international learning, investment and industry collaboration, while currently serving as Chairman of the CII Northern Region Committee on Real Estate.
