LG Electronics Singapore Showcases Premium Built-In Kitchen Innovation

LG Electronics Singapore showcases its premium built-in kitchen range with Michelin-starred Chef Son Jongwon, combining connected appliances, precision cooking and refined design for modern homes.

LG Electronics Singapore showcases its premium built-in kitchen solutions through collaboration with Michelin-starred Chef Son Jongwon, bringing together Korean culinary expertise and connected home technology. The showcase, held on September 30, demonstrates how LG’s built-in appliances combine precision, smart connectivity and contemporary design for modern kitchens.

Chef Son Jongwon, Executive Chef of Seoul-based restaurants Eatanic Garden and L’Amant Secret, leads the culinary presentation, highlighting the role of precision and consistency in professional cooking. His collaboration with LG demonstrates how intelligent appliances can support temperature control, preparation and cooking while allowing the chef’s techniques and creativity to remain central to the experience.

The showcased lineup includes an LG Induction Hob, Built-In Oven, Hood, Microwave Oven and InstaView Door-in-Door Refrigerator. The induction hob delivers up to 7.4kW of power across four cooking zones, including two Flex Zones, and features Hob Hood Activation for integrated operation. The built-in oven offers 42 Auto Cook Programs, Full Steam technology and a 4.3-inch LCD touchscreen.

The LG Hood provides airflow of up to 830 cubic metres per hour, along with three suction levels, a Boost function and washable grease filters. The microwave oven incorporates Smart Inverter technology, Infrared Heating and Healthy Fry functionality, while the InstaView refrigerator features Linear Cooling and an Auto Ice Maker. The appliances connect through the LG ThinQ platform, enabling integrated control and connected functionality across the kitchen.

The showcase also incorporates furniture from Danish design brand Fritz Hansen, including pieces by designers Arne Jacobsen and Poul Kjærholm. The combination of premium furniture and integrated appliances positions the kitchen as a broader lifestyle and design space rather than solely a functional area.

Fabian Kunho Lee, Managing Director of LG Electronics Singapore, says the kitchen remains an important space for connection, creativity and everyday experiences. The collaboration with Chef Son Jongwon, he adds, demonstrates how culinary craftsmanship and intelligent kitchen technology can come together to create a more elevated home environment.

The Singapore showcase forms part of LG’s broader strategy to strengthen its premium built-in appliance portfolio, combining sophisticated design, connected technology and cooking performance for contemporary residential spaces. LG has also expanded its built-in range globally with AI-enabled appliances focused on efficiency, capacity and performance.
