Sarovar Hotels introduces a dual Diwali offering for 2026, combining festive hotel packages across India with customised at-home catering through Ghar Mehfil for gatherings of eight or more guests.
Sarovar Hotels has introduced a festive hospitality offering for Diwali 2026, bringing together holiday packages at participating hotels across India and customised at-home catering through its Ghar Mehfil service. The initiative caters to families and groups looking to celebrate the festival through leisure travel or private gatherings at home.
The Diwali getaway package is available for bookings and stays between November 6 and 10, 2026. The offer includes complimentary accommodation and meals for children up to 12 years, along with a credit voucher that guests can use towards food and beverages and spa services. Participating properties cover a range of destinations, including beach locations such as Goa, hill stations and pilgrimage centres.

The hotel packages are designed to provide families with additional convenience during the festive period. Guests can explore participating properties across different destinations and choose stays according to their travel preferences. The offer is subject to availability and applicable terms and conditions.
Extending its hospitality services beyond hotel properties, Sarovar Hotels is also promoting Ghar Mehfil, an at-home catering experience for festive gatherings. The service offers customised multi-cuisine menus for groups starting at eight guests. It includes a professional chef and a server, with staffing arrangements and menu selections tailored to the size and requirements of each gathering.
The pricing for Ghar Mehfil depends on the selected menu and service requirements, allowing customers to customise the experience for family celebrations and social occasions. The service brings restaurant-style food and hospitality to private homes, giving hosts an alternative to organising festive meals themselves.
Akshay Thusoo, Senior Vice President – Commercial at Sarovar Hotels, said the initiative aims to make festive celebrations more convenient and memorable. He noted that combining hotel stays with at-home catering allows families and groups to choose how they celebrate while experiencing the company's hospitality and food offerings.
