Suraksha Group plans to invest ₹3,000 crore over two years to complete stalled Jaypee housing projects and deliver around 20,000 homes to buyers by 2028, while preparing new township developments.
Suraksha Group, which took control of Jaypee Infratech through the insolvency resolution process in 2024, plans to invest around ₹3,000 crore over the next two years to complete its stalled housing projects. The group aims to provide possession of the pending Jaypee homes to buyers by 2028, offering a fresh timeline to thousands of customers who have faced prolonged construction delays.
The developer has already made significant progress since taking over Jaypee Infratech. According to the company, 84 of the 159 towers that were stalled at the time of the takeover have now been completed, covering around 7,913 residential units. More than 5,000 homes have already been handed over to customers, while possession of around 3,000 completed units remains pending.

Suraksha Group has invested approximately ₹1,500–2,000 crore in the projects so far. The additional ₹3,000 crore allocations is expected to be directed primarily towards completing construction and finishing work across the remaining residential developments. The company maintains that the investment will accelerate execution and help address the long-standing backlog of unfinished homes.
The company is also identifying multiple internal sources to support the planned expenditure. It has outstanding customer receivables of around ₹1,800–2,000 crore and generates approximately ₹500 crore annually from toll operations on the Yamuna Expressway. In addition, Jaypee Infratech has around 2,000 unsold units with a potential sales value of approximately ₹2,500 crore.
The completion programme covers nearly 20,000 homes across Jaypee's stalled residential projects. While the company has indicated a target of completing and handing over the homes during 2028, reports indicate that the schedule could extend to September 2028 depending on construction conditions.

Alongside completing legacy projects, Jaypee Infratech is preparing for new development along the Yamuna Expressway. The company plans to develop three townships covering more than 450 acres, comprising two residential projects and one industrial development.
The fresh investment marks a major phase in Suraksha Group's efforts to resolve Jaypee Infratech's long-running construction challenges. By combining additional capital with customer collections, toll income and monetisation of unsold inventory, the group is seeking to accelerate deliveries and restore confidence among affected homebuyers.
