Bharti Real Estate Launches 2.6 Lakh Sq Ft World St at Aerocity

Bharti Real Estate unveils World St, a 2.6 lakh sq ft retail development at Delhi Aerocity, with the mall scheduled to open in 2028 as part of its expansion in the hospitality and retail destination.

Bharti Real Estate has launched World St., a 2.6 lakh sq. ft. retail and food and beverage (F&B) destination at Worldmark, Aerocity, and New Delhi. The development brings together international and domestic dining, shopping and leisure brands through a pedestrian-friendly promenade. The launch marks a new phase in the company's retail expansion, ahead of its planned 3 million sq. ft. destination mall, targeted to open in 2028.

Extending approximately half a kilometre across Worldmark 4, 5 and 6, World St. connects the commercial buildings through a walkable retail and dining environment. The development features restaurants, cafés, patisseries, retail outlets, alfresco dining spaces and landscaped courtyards. With 29 brands operational at launch, the destination includes more than 20 food and beverage offerings catering to office occupants, Delhi-NCR residents and visitors.

International brands Olive Garden, Selva Maya and Lindt & Sprüngli are also making their India debut at the destination. India's first Time Out Market is planned as a future addition, further expanding its food and cultural offering.

The next phase of the project involves a destination mall spanning approximately 3 million sq. ft. of built-up area, with around 2.8 million sq. ft. of gross leasable area. The mall forms part of Worldmark 2.0, a development covering approximately 7 million sq. ft. that also includes around 3 million sq. ft. of delivered office space.

The wider Worldmark development at Aerocity is planned across nearly 17 million sq. ft., bringing together commercial offices, retail, hospitality, and dining and leisure facilities.
