UP RERA approves 12 residential, commercial and mixed-use projects worth ₹1,663.85 crore across six districts, adding 3,090 units and supporting construction activity across Uttar Pradesh.
The Uttar Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority (UP RERA) approves 12 new real estate projects across six districts, involving an estimated investment of ₹1,663.85 crore and the development of 3,090 residential and commercial units. The approvals cover Lucknow, Ghaziabad, Hapur, Ayodhya, Prayagraj and Kanpur.
The approvals are granted during UP RERA’s 214th authority meeting, chaired by its chairman Sanjay Bhoosreddy. The newly approved projects include residential, commercial and mixed-use developments, with the authority emphasising compliance with regulatory requirements, timely project execution and protection of homebuyers’ interests.

Lucknow records the highest investment as well as the largest number of proposed units among the six districts. Four projects are approved in the city, comprising two residential developments, one commercial project and one mixed-use development. Together, these projects involve an estimated investment of ₹609.35 crore and are expected to add 1,972 units.
Ghaziabad follows with three residential projects involving an estimated investment of ₹605.06 crore. These developments are expected to add 574 residential units to the city’s housing supply. Hapur receives approval for two residential projects involving ₹123.45 crore and 192 units.
The remaining approvals are distributed across Ayodhya, Prayagraj and Kanpur. Ayodhya receives approval for one residential project with an estimated investment of ₹72.61 crore and 85 units. Prayagraj’s approved residential project involves ₹51.66 crore and 109 units, while Kanpur receives approval for a residential project valued at ₹201.72 crore and comprising 158 units.
UP RERA states that the fresh approvals are expected to support construction activity and generate opportunities in allied sectors, including building materials, engineering and transportation. The projects are also expected to contribute to housing and commercial development across the participating districts.

The authority continues to focus on systematic project monitoring and regulatory compliance following registration. UP RERA chairman Sanjay Bhoosreddy says transparent and organised development, along with timely approvals and monitoring, remains a priority for the regulator.
With the latest approvals, the six districts add a new pipeline of residential and commercial developments worth nearly ₹1,664 crore. The projects expand the state’s active real estate pipeline while placing continued emphasis on timely execution and safeguarding homebuyers’ interests.
