Xiaomi Expands Smart Washer-Dryer Availability to More Markets

Xiaomi expands availability of its Mijia Washer Dryer Pro 10kg to markets including Germany and Spain. The appliance features automatic detergent dosing, app controls, steam cycles and a 7kg drying capacity.

Xiaomi expands its smart home appliance portfolio in Europe with the Mijia Washer Dryer Pro 10kg, which becomes available in additional markets, including Germany and Spain. Listed on Xiaomi’s official online stores at €649, the appliance combines washing and drying functions with automated detergent dispensing and app-based controls.

The washer-dryer offers a washing capacity of 10kg and a maximum drying capacity of 7kg. Users handling larger laundry loads may need to remove some clothes before starting the drying cycle. The appliance carries an energy efficiency rating of Class A for washing, while its combined wash-and-dry operation is rated Class D.

A key feature is its dual automatic dosing system, which dispenses liquid detergent and fabric softener according to the laundry load. This reduces the need for manual measurement and helps users manage detergent consumption. The appliance can be operated through its integrated touchscreen or the Xiaomi Home app, where users can customise washing and drying programmes.

The Mijia Washer Dryer Pro also includes a 12-minute quick-wash programme for lightly soiled garments and steam-based cycles designed to refresh fabrics and support hygiene. Its direct-drive motor is backed by a 12-year warranty, adding to the product’s long-term ownership proposition.

The expansion follows Xiaomi’s broader efforts to establish its large home appliances in more European markets. By integrating connected controls and automated laundry functions, the company aims to extend its smart home ecosystem beyond smartphones and smaller connected devices.

The product’s availability in Germany and Spain reflects the continued rollout of Xiaomi’s home appliance range across Europe. However, availability, pricing and delivery timelines may vary by market. Xiaomi lists the model at €649, with delivery estimates provided through its regional online stores.

With its combination of automatic dosing, connected controls and integrated washing and drying, the Mijia Washer Dryer Pro 10kg adds another option to Xiaomi’s growing smart home portfolio, targeting consumers seeking convenience and more automated household routines.
