IKEA India expands its Bengaluru presence with a second store on Kanakapura Main Road, scheduled to open on November 5, 2026, bringing its home furnishings, accessories and interior solutions closer to customers in South Bengaluru.
Swedish home furnishings retailer IKEA India is set to open its second Bengaluru store on November 5, 2026, expanding its reach in South Bengaluru. Located at Purva Zentech on Kanakapura Main Road, the 80,000-square-foot outlet brings the brand’s home furnishing products and shopping experience closer to customers in the southern part of the city and neighbouring areas.
The new store is situated within walking distance of Konanakunte Cross Metro Station, improving accessibility for shoppers travelling by public transport. The location aligns with IKEA’s strategy of establishing stores near transit hubs to make its products more convenient to access.

The outlet offers more than 5,200 products for customers to explore, including over 3,000 items available for immediate takeaway. IKEA’s complete range of more than 7,000 products can also be ordered through the store, the company’s website, its mobile application and its Shop by Phone service.
The store features a 100-seat IKEA Restaurant, where visitors can enjoy Swedish favourites alongside local food options. The combination of home furnishings, accessories, shopping services and dining facilities is designed to offer customers a convenient retail experience.
IKEA India CEO Patrik Antoni says Bengaluru holds a special place in the company’s journey, with customer insights helping the retailer understand evolving household needs and preferences. The second store represents a milestone in the company’s efforts to improve accessibility and convenience for customers across the city.

IKEA first entered Bengaluru through e-commerce in 2021 before opening its large-format store in Nagasandra in June 2022. The new outlet strengthens its presence in the city and gives customers in southern neighbourhoods an additional destination to explore home furnishing solutions.
The opening also supports IKEA’s broader expansion strategy in India, which includes developing different store formats to serve customers across urban markets. By bringing a wide product selection closer to residential neighbourhoods and public transport, the retailer aims to make functional furniture, storage solutions and home accessories more accessible to a wider customer base.
