Samsung Launches 2026 Bespoke AI Appliances in India

Samsung launches its 2026 Bespoke AI appliance range in India, introducing a Family Hub refrigerator with Google Gemini, AI-enabled WindFree air conditioners and expanded SmartThings connectivity.

Samsung India launches its 2026 Bespoke AI appliance portfolio in India, expanding its connected-home ecosystem across refrigerators, air conditioners and other household categories. The company showcases the new range at ‘The Brief Gurugram’, highlighting how artificial intelligence and SmartThings can connect appliances, automate routines and support energy management.

The new portfolio includes the Family Hub Refrigerator with AI Vision built with Google Gemini, the Bespoke AI WindFree Pro Air Conditioner and the Infinite 1-Way Cassette AC with WindFree. Samsung positions the products as part of an AI Home ecosystem designed to understand usage patterns personalise experiences and connect different appliances through a common platform.

The Family Hub refrigerator features a 32-inch display and introduces contextual AI capabilities, including Video-to-Recipe and personalised information through the Now Brief feature. Its AI Vision and AI Food Manager functions help identify and track food items, suggest recipes and support management of use-by dates. The refrigerator also incorporates localised features such as Family Care and Pet Care.

Samsung also expands its AI-powered cooling portfolio with the Bespoke AI WindFree Pro Air Conditioner. The system combines AI-enabled controls with PM1.0 purification and supports climate management through Smart Things and Samsung’s Home Appliance Remote Management platform.

Designed specifically for Indian homes, the Infinite 1-Way Cassette AC with WindFree uses 23,000 micro-holes to deliver draft-free cooling. Samsung says its AI Energy Mode can reduce energy consumption by up to 30%, while Smart Things connectivity allows users to remotely manage the appliance and monitor climate settings.

The wider 2026 portfolio is supported by Samsung’s AI Home interface, Bixby voice assistant, Knox security and Smart Things connectivity. The upgraded Bixby introduces Voice ID, enabling the system to recognise individual users and personalise interactions. Samsung also adds Family Care features that can send alerts when unusual situations, such as unexpected inactivity, are detected.

Samsung says its SmartThings software ecosystem will receive seven years of updates, supporting longer-term functionality across compatible appliances. The company is positioning AI as a common layer connecting household devices rather than limiting intelligent features to individual products.

The launch strengthens Samsung’s focus on AI-enabled home technology in India, where connected appliances are increasingly being integrated into everyday household routines. By combining AI, energy management, security and device connectivity through SmartThings, the 2026 Bespoke AI range expands Samsung’s vision of a more personalised and interconnected home environment.
