Luxury watch and jewellery brand Jacob & Co partners with GB Realty to develop a ₹2,400–2,500 crore branded residential project on Airport Road in Mohali. The five-tower development includes two residences branded under Salman Khan’s name.
Global luxury watch and jewellery brand Jacob & Co enters Punjab’s real estate market through a partnership with local developer GB Realty to develop a luxury residential project on Airport Road in Mohali. With an estimated investment of ₹2,400–2,500 crore, the development marks GB Realty’s entry into the branded residences segment and introduces an internationally recognised luxury brand to the Chandigarh–Mohali–Panchkula housing market.
The project will be developed on a nine-acre land parcel acquired for approximately ₹550 crore through a local authority auction. The planned development comprises five residential towers, with Jacob & Co overseeing the design. Three towers will carry the Jacob & Co name, while two will be branded as Salman Khan Residences. The project is positioned as Punjab’s first branded-residences development and is described in media reports as the first of its kind in an Indian tier-2 city.

The total investment includes more than ₹1,000 crore allocated to land, with the remaining amount earmarked for construction, development and related project costs. The developer has not yet disclosed the number of apartments, unit configurations, launch schedule, pricing or possession timelines.
Gurinder Bhatti, founder and managing director of GB Realty, says the collaboration brings an international design perspective to the company’s residential portfolio. The developer aims to cater to buyers in the Tricity region seeking luxury homes with a distinctive brand identity.
The project forms part of GB Realty’s wider expansion strategy across North India. The company plans to invest more than ₹5,000 crore over the next three years as it enters additional real estate segments and markets. Over five years, it targets cumulative investments of approximately ₹10,000 crore, including around ₹3,500 crore for luxury and ultra-luxury residential developments.

Branded residences combine residential property with the design identity or services associated with a recognised luxury, hospitality or lifestyle brand. Developers increasingly use these partnerships to differentiate premium housing projects and appeal to buyers seeking a distinctive residential experience.
With the Mohali development, Jacob & Co extends its brand presence beyond watches and jewellery into residential real estate, while GB Realty seeks to strengthen its position in North India’s luxury housing market. The project adds to the growing interest in branded residences beyond established metropolitan markets.
